Refrigerator is the device you need at home that will make it possible for you to safe and keep various types of food or ingredient. When problems occur, you need to be prepared and do some solutions for it to work properly as it used to be.refrigerator in kitchen design

#1. Refrigerator Section is Warm, the Freezer Section is Cold

When this happens and you find the ice built up on the other side of wall, you may want to check on the system of Defrost. The defrost cycle goes every 8 to 12 hours that last from 20 to 30 minutes. When you find this problem, you can put the defrost timer into defrost mode. You can put the mode by using a flat blade screwdriver that you insert into a hole in the panel of thermostat control that is located in the back or top wall of the refrigerator.

#2. The Refrigerator and the Freezer Are Not Cool

Check on the compressor and evaporator motor whether it is working, and check on the condenser motor that is located on the back side of a refrigerator. Some refrigerators may not have one, so check. If the refrigerator cannot begin to run, then its thermostat can be the problem. For checking it, disconnect two wires connecting to it, hold them together, or ‘jump’ them. Avoid touching any of the connectors’ metal parts. You can use the rubber gloves for better protection.

#3.  Check the Coils of Condensor

Check on the condensor oils when the refrigerator and the freezer are not cooling. Check whether the condenser coils are clean. To find the coils, usually you will see it on the back side of refrigerator or next to the condenser fan motor and the compressor. When the problem occurs, and the coils are not dirty, the problem must likely to be the low of Freon.

#4. Water Leaks in the Bottom Side of Refrigerator

If this happens, the problem is the stopped up defrost drain. During the cycle of defrost, the water leaks down passing a tube of drain to the below side of refrigerator. When the drain is stopped up which is usually from the particles of food, the water flows to a spot which is into the refrigerator.refrigerator warm freezer cold

#5. Solution for the Water Leaking

As solution for the leaking water, you can have a tank of air. Blow air through the tube of drain that is placed on the other side of refrigerator, the place where the water drains to the pan. Usually, this helps to clear debris from refrigerator tube of drain.

#6. The Refrigerator is Cycling on More Frequently and Using More Energy

When this happens, check on the condensor coils that are located underneath the refrigerator. Both of them are a magnet for dust and dispenser of heat, especially for the homes with many pets and dirty floors of the kitchen. Vacuum the coils and keep further cleanings by cutting discarded panty hose in a section or a piece of filter material that is light in weight.

#7. Expect the Ice Maker you have to Slow during the Production of Ice

After you add your refrigerator with vegetables, fruits or other food you just bought, you can expect an icemaker if you have to slow down in the production of ice. This takes some time to cool down the new groceries; the temperature of the freezer and the refrigerator will rise after a while.

#8. Noisy Sound When Close the Door

If you hear the squeaking sound on the door of your refrigerator, you may find the gaskets of the door rubs on the side of the door. Spray Pam Oil on its gasket on the doors’ hinge side.

Keep your refrigerator clean and safe it from any materials that will disturb its work. Make sure you get the center of the problem, so you will keep other parts of the refrigerator safe.
